Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8/5/2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GeoMentor website and mentorship services (the "Service"). GeoMentor is a training program initiated and led by mentor Raphael Mussa on behalf of Geoinsight Enterprise, the legal business operating the Service ("GeoMentor", "Geoinsight Enterprise", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
GeoMentor provides structured learning paths, mentorship, lessons, scheduled sessions, and related digital materials in the field of GIS and geospatial development as part of Geoinsight Enterprise's mission to provide practical geospatial training.
2. Account and authority
You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- infringe intellectual property rights of GeoMentor or any third party;
- attempt to interfere with security or integrity (malware, probing, scraping);
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its content;
- reverse-engineer or circumvent technical limitations.
4. Intellectual property
Geoinsight Enterprise, GeoMentor, and their licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, course materials, branding, and documentation. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Service for your personal learning use.
5. Payments, billing, taxes, refunds, and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By placing an order you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms which govern payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
6. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
7. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geoinsight Enterprise's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid for GeoMentor in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Geoinsight Enterprise, GeoMentor, and Raphael Mussa against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to access the Service ends.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Geoinsight Enterprise operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
